Mindful breathing can be an anchor and a refuge when the waves of our lives are stormy. When we focus our awareness on the breath in a totally immersed way, we cultivate the experience of inner peace that we can always return to. Yoga instructor, Susannah Sanfilippo, will help us explore our breath by feeling what is actually happening in the body as we breathe. She'll also share with us ways to improve our breathing habits to create well-functioning breathing.You can expect to leave feeling relaxed and more aware. Wear layers. Bring something to sit on, such as a blanket or chair.
